SANSUI GPS 35, f35 or gps 43
A few weeks ago to market for only 49 euro I found this great GPS unit, Sansui GPS35 some in some advertising as Sansui F35 but it’s the exact same model. Not long ago we also released a new model, the gps43 identical in features and software, but with slightly larger display of 4.3 inches.
Considering the price and because he had already made a friend and I noticed the updated maps and a perfect operation I decided to take it. Besides giving a tribute also to the suction cup car,, USB cable and the charger also has 2GB of internal flash in well over 800 free POI (points of interest such as restaurants and distributors) and the camera already included, as well as a reader for microSD up to 4GB, light sensor, and a nice display, it seems only do not know the sansui televisions and appliances, not bad at all!

The light sensor automatically manages the display brightness according to ambient light, increases when outside, and vice versa, so the visibility will always be perfect, of course, like all LCDs in the world in full sun becomes a little difficult to read.
The navigation software seems quite advanced (iGO8), the processor is very fast and you do not notice even the slightest slowdown in 3D visualization. The route calculation is fast and precise maps to date and very well done, only the POI in my area are almost useless. The location update is very fast and the movement of-smooth maps, zooming in the 3D display than we have in practice a true replica of what you see from the windshield, so that I can be very useful even in case of fog, of course with due caution. The voice prompts seem accurate and always lead you to your destination without you ever need to look at the screen, and items are easily updated.
The battery lasts about 3 / 4 hours or more, depending on the use and display brightness, so after unlocking it may very well be used as a cheap handheld GPS equipped, however.
But the beauty is that going around on the internet to find some information I have later discovered that this trinket works on a real operating system (WinCE) and that even in contrast to many other more famous and expensive is not the only core is therefore not limited but has it all, taskbar, control panel, resource management and even internet explorer to unlock is sufficient to run a small file cedesktop.exe (you can download it here by clicking on the name) to be loaded into memory and wherever you like start menu / system map of the route.

After several tests I finally managed to install OziExplorer with the 1:25000 topographic maps of the Italy IGM, it was a big job but now I can safely use even in the country and even in the navigation in the whole Mediterranean sea maps that I found, the All of course you can easily select the new desktop;) Find the article on how to install it below.

- First download CeDesktop.exe
